This isn't your average bio. Nope, we do things differently around here.
There's no resume to list, no letters after my name, no title, or labels to wear. This is me, Suzi Minor the unconventional one. Now that’s a title I can wear!
With six decades of life experience under my belt, I've discovered some hard won truths to living an authentic life. And if you're a woman of a certain age, I'm sure you have too.
Life is about keeping the pen primed, taking a pause to edit, and continuing to stay curious as you write your next chapter.
You see, to me it's all about the story, so if you need to call me anything, call me a story scout.

I love listening to people's stories...
…and feel it is through storytelling where we connect with one another. That’s mainly why I started the podcast Souvenirs: Timeless Tales of People, Places, and the Past.
What started as a passion project turned into a global reaching podcast, featuring fascinating folks from artists, authors, entrepreneurs, to pioneering dude ranch families.
Nature lover, you could call me that too!
Nature’s Angels was my first published children’s book, encouraging readers to explore nature through wonder and imagination. My love of nature, especially the unique beauty of the Sonoran Desert is where I draw inspiration for most of my writing. Leading creative writing workshops in an outdoor setting offers the best prompts to get our pens tickling the page. Oh, did I mention I’m a poet too!
“Nature is our greatest teacher, providing us the perfect classroom for inspiration and connection to the world around us and within.”
As a Certified
Nature Therapy guide...
… I’ve led many clients through the healing experience of nature immersion. I spend my time hiking the trails of deserts and mountains. It is in nature where I feel most at home. It is in nature where we can connect to something beyond the man-made constructs of our modern-day world. The practice of nature therapy encourages us to tap into our senses, disconnect from our devices and reconnect to all that is life.
Last and certainly not least, there’s horses!
Those beautiful intuitive beings that have the ability to draw us into deeper connection with our authenticity. As a Certified Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator, partnering with horses and their no-nonsense meters, invites us to tap into internal narratives that may be keeping us stuck and help us learn new ways of showing up more authentically.
Can you see the theme here?
Nature... Storytelling... Connections!
Isn’t it time we restore our connections to the natural world, to humanity and to ourselves? Let’s get back to our roots and connect to what really matters.
So that’s me in a peanut shell
